I suppose this proves it . . .

I posted a photo of this old MENSA membership card on my Facebook page the other day.  A few of my friends commented on the picture.  One remarked that she thought that I was joking when I told her I was once in the high IQ organization.  Another made a comment that essentially accused me of bragging, but I know that she’s just a jealous Aquarius who is not as smart as me.  The best comment, though, came from my friend Marjie (yes, Marjie Withajay is a real person).  She asked me if my IQ is 7100 . . .

I wrote this goofy book more than a decade ago.  I had a flash of brilliance and I ran with it.  As a result, fashion astrology turned into my career for a while.

When I look back at what I accomplished, I’m pretty thrilled with myself.  I sometimes think that I should rewrite it for a modern, more fashion-savvy audience, but then I realize that I don’t want to be a one-trick pony.

About a week ago, I had another flash of brilliance and I started writing another book. I’m not going to tell anyone what it’s about until I’ve composed a couple of chapters, but once that’s done, the insufferable braggart in me won’t be able to shut up.  Stay posted for more updates!
